A new framework for equity research

Institutional-grade research, issuer-funded.

The EU Listing Act, together with the EU Code of Conduct for issuer-sponsored research — adopted by the European Commission in May 2026 and now awaiting publication in the Official Journal — elevates sponsored coverage from a marketing-communication category to regulated research with institutional standing.

For the first time, sponsored coverage operates under the same analytical and ethical perimeter that institutional investors require from any research input. The Code specifies who can produce it, how it must be disclosed, and what independence guarantees apply, and creates a protected "issuer-sponsored research" label on its entry into force.
